Monitoring Your Pain During Exercise: When to Stop

I’ve often heard people say, “No Pain, No Gain.” Is that really true?

Personally, I believe pain is a good indicator that tells you when to stop, so it’s important to distinguish the type of pain.

Note: Neural symptoms can be experienced 6–8 hours after the aggravating activity, making it sometimes difficult to identify the exact cause of the flare-up, especially with back pain.
