DVA Veteran Exercise Physiology Services
At Enjoy Therapy Exercise Physiology, we provide personalised, evidence-based exercise services for Australian veterans through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). If you are looking for a trusted DVA exercise physiologist in Newcastle or surrounding suburbs, we’re here to support you.
We understand the unique challenges veterans face when it comes to managing chronic pain, mobility, strength, mental health and overall independence. As accredited exercise physiologists, we work closely with eligible DVA clients to develop safe, effective programs that support long-term health, rehabilitation and quality of life.
Whether you’re recovering from injury, living with a chronic condition or simply want to improve your fitness and confidence, our DVA exercise physiology services are tailored to your goals and capacity.
Supporting Veterans to Stay Strong, Active and Independent
How We Help Veterans
Every veteran's journey is different. That's why we take the time to understand your goals, challenges, and lifestyle before creating a personalised exercise plan tailored specifically to you.
Our treatment focus on:
Improving strength and mobility
Reducing pain and stiffness
Improving balance and reducing falls risk
Building confidence with everyday activities
Managing chronic health conditions
Supporting healthy ageing
Maintaining independence for longer
A Supportive and Practical Approach
Many veterans tell us their goal is simple: to stay active, maintain their independence, enjoy time with family and friends, and continue doing the activities they value most.
At Enjoy Therapy Exercise Physiology, our role is to help make that possible.
Services are delivered in a welcoming, fully equipped gym environment in the centre of Newcastle and include both personalised one-on-one Exercise Physiology consultations and veteran group training sessions. These sessions not only support physical health and function but also provide opportunities to connect with fellow veterans in a supportive community setting.
No matter your current fitness level, we meet you where you are and develop a program tailored to your needs, abilities, and goals—helping you build confidence, strength, and long-term wellbeing.
